    Yong-Jin LEE

  • Mr. Yong-jin Lee is a managing partner at Wooin Patent & Law Firm where his main duties focus on the foreign IP affairs of international clients from many countries around the world.

    Since passing the Korean patent bar exam in 1999, Mr. Lee has practiced in all areas of the intellectual property field, including chemical prosecution, trademark and design prosecution and litigation, and various types of IP consultation.

    Mr. Lee has given numerous lectures across Korea at companies, universities, and other IP related organizations. He has made many presentations at conferences and seminars on various topics including controversial IP issues such as the cases involving Samsung and Apple. This was not only locally in Korea but internationally as well. Also, many of his articles and works are often published in prominent Korean and Japanese journals.

    Before joining Wooin Patent & Law Firm in 2003, Mr. Lee had worked for Myungshin and Partners and Lee International IP & Law Group from 2000 to 2002.

    Mr. Lee received a bachelor’s degree of textile and molecular engineering from Sungkyunkwan University in 1998; he also received his Master’s Degree of Intellectual Property (MIP) from the Graduate School of Tokyo University of Science in 2012.
